Sometimes You Just Feel So Small And Insignificant

Sometimes you just feel so small and insignificant, like a spot on the sidewalk. It may feel like people just walk by and over you, not even noticing.

Maybe it’s really a matter of perspective. Like the picture, you have a great view of a beautiful world. Maybe you are surrounded by others also enjoying the view. Maybe it’s a reminder that there’s nowhere to go but up.

The picture doesn’t change but how we interpret it does. How are you interpreting your story? What if you decided to look at your story like it belonged to someone else? How would you describe it then? What if you tell that story with you as the hero?

So back to the picture. What if the story is about how brave you are to step out of your comfort zone and chase your dream by going to the big city? What if it’s that you love to try new things and you’re adventuring to some place like Chicago or New York or Dallas or wherever?

And what if your version of the story is the only one that really matters? Because it is.
