Do not use others as an excuse to dismiss all of humanity; or a certain moment in time or action to condemn the whole world. The thorn in your finger screams that all of life is pain, while the entirety of your body whispers look at the beauty of the rose.
Toss the thorn aside and focus on the beauty of the rose, the color, the texture, the light on it, the smell, the fragility. Thorn, what thorn? Apply this focus to your next irritation and see what happens.
