I usually work with people who have been blindsided and sometimes plowed under emotionally by narcissists or narcissistic people in their life. My clients (and others) then usually have a lot of the same questions about narcissists behavior, motivations, reactions and how to deal with the narcissist in their life. Those are the types of questions I try to answer in the blogs I post.
But for a change, instead of me guessing what you want to know, I thought I would ask you to send in questions you would like answered about narcissists. There are some ground rules though.
I will choose what is appropriate for a public forum like my blog. Let’s keep it at least PG-13.
Questions need to be general and about 10 to 50 words in length. This means things like “why does a narcissist………..?” rather than several hundred/thousand word essays asking why my spouse/parent did this and this and this, etc. I cannot answer specific situation motivations, diagnose people I haven’t met or do counseling by email.
I also want to keep your privacy and email is not secure, so please do not give out personal information in the email. Be sure to keep yourself safe. You can also leave a short question on the Facebook page as a comment.
I will take all of the questions submitted and choose the ones most people seem to be curious about, may be most helpful and/or may not have been answered in my posts all ready. I will put the questions into a generic wording and/or combine questions and stories in order to keep peoples information safe. As they say on tv/movies, any resemblance to stories of people living or dead is purely coincidental.
Questions can also be about what you want to know about relationships with, leaving, dealing with narcissists. This is your chance to ask. Go for it!
