Sometimes we get so discouraged that our life is not progressing to where we want it to be. I have been feeling really stuck lately, that no matter what I do, nothing changes. And I was concerned whether my dreams were the right choice. I was living in “scared if I do/scared if I don’t” land.
Then sometimes God shows you that everything can change in a minute. And sometimes back again. This week has been two 180 degree turns. If you remember your math, that means I am back to where I started.
But I did get a taste of how quickly dreams and goals can come about, how little control I sometimes have over that, and the opportunity to think about if I really want the dreams I am working towards.
I got to “try on” one of my goals for a few hours. That made it more real to me, helped me see that was what I wanted, and encouraged me to keep doing what I can to make it happen. And most importantly, recognize that God can make it happen, I am not alone.
Keep doing what you can do, knowing that you don’t have to do it alone.
