Sometimes your picture of yourself – is totally off. Distorted. Like a curved mirror or a side mirror – “objects in mirror are closer than they appear” – what you think you see is not reality.

Sometimes I’ve thought of myself as fearful, lazy, timid, powerless, constantly flunking and hopeless. Sometimes I’ve thought of myself as brave, optimistic, intelligent, creative, compassionate, curious, funny and valuable.

I act as if I am whoever I think I am that day. It can be a self-fulfilling

My value doesn’t change, just my emotions and actions. Which changes how people act and react to me.
